They came for our windows...

On a cold winter day in 2023, Tim Braakman arrived at our office and immediately hit the glass façade. Fortunately, Tim was not armed with sticks or bricks, but with poetry, design and tender brushes.

In the 1920s DKB's designers created a characteristic armchair for the prestigious Hotel De Witte Brug in The Hague. As if he were operating a time machine, Tim managed to transport the image of the chair from the illustrious 1920s hotel lobby to the entrance hall of our contemporary office.

Under the watchful eye of our director, Gert Prakken, and with the help of some DKB staffers with a steady hand, the well-known signpainter turned an unremarkable office window into the elegant figurehead of our anniversary year.
